Starting from October 24, 2023, within the framework of the project “Management of Advanced Medical Technologies” of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Uzbekistan, GOPA Worldwide Consultants has conducted and continues to conduct one-day trainings on the care and maintenance of anesthesia devices, SPAP devices and ventilators for users in emergency hospitals and regional perinatal centers in the cities of Nukus, Samarkand, Fergana, Namangan and Andijan These training sessions mainly cover routine maintenance, care and regular inspection of equipment; thorough cleaning and disinfection of anesthesia-respiratory devices, SPAP devices and ventilator equipment. The training is conducted by clinical and technical experts in the field of resuscitation and anesthesiology: Mahamajon Makhmudov - teacher of the department of "anesthesiology and resuscitation" of the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers and Farkhod Makhkamov - director of the Republican Training and Production Center for the Maintenance of Medical Equipment as a technical engineer. This provided participants with a unique opportunity to strengthen their competencies in both areas. At the end of the day, participants received a certificate from the Republican Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers for 8 hours. The training is carried out within the framework of component 3 of the project "Management of advanced medical technologies", which is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ).
